Non si tratta di giudicare la persona in s\u00e9, quanto piuttosto il significato che questa scelta assume all\u2019interno di un sistema moda che sembra premiare sempre meno l\u2019esperienza e sempre pi\u00f9 la notoriet\u00e0.<\/p><p>Mentre migliaia di studenti e giovani designer investono tempo, risorse economiche e anni di formazione per acquisire competenze tecniche, culturali e artistiche, assistiamo a un fenomeno che manda un messaggio chiaro: a volte non \u00e8 necessario aver fatto questo percorso, perch\u00e9 basta un nome conosciuto per accedere alle posizioni pi\u00f9 ambite.<\/p><p><strong>Meritocrazia sacrificata al marketing<\/strong><\/p><p>In un settore dove le scuole di moda chiedono anni di studio su discipline complesse \u2014 modellistica, sartoria, storia del costume, textile design, comunicazione visiva, branding \u2014 vedere una figura esterna al fashion design assumere il ruolo pi\u00f9 importante rischia di essere frustrante. La sensazione \u00e8 che la gavetta, gli stage, le notti passate a cucire prototipi, valgano meno della capacit\u00e0 di attrarre attenzione mediatica.<\/p><p>Per le aziende, la strategia \u00e8 chiara: una celebrit\u00e0 al vertice porta visibilit\u00e0 immediata, titoli sui giornali, vendite a breve termine. Ma a quale prezzo? Se il criterio diventa la fama pi\u00f9 che il talento, a lungo andare si rischia di impoverire l\u2019intero settore, riducendolo a un esercizio di marketing piuttosto che a un campo di ricerca creativa.<\/p><p><strong>Non un caso isolato <\/strong><\/p><p>La scelta di Louboutin non \u00e8 un\u2019eccezione: negli ultimi anni sempre pi\u00f9 brand hanno preferito affidare ruoli creativi a personaggi provenienti da musica, cinema o influencer culture.<\/p><p>Basti pensare a Pharrell Williams, chiamato a guidare la linea maschile di Louis Vuitton: un artista di grande impatto culturale, certo, ma non un designer cresciuto tra tessuti e cartamodelli. Oppure a SZA, nominata direttrice artistica di Vans, scelta che ha sollevato pi\u00f9 di un interrogativo sulle reali competenze richieste dal ruolo. E ancora A$AP Rocky con Ray-Ban, Lindsay Lohan con Emanuel Ungaro, o Cardi B in veste di direttrice creativa per Playboy: casi che hanno fatto discutere e che mostrano chiaramente una tendenza.<\/p><p>Queste nomine hanno tutte un filo rosso: sfruttare la popolarit\u00e0 per rilanciare i brand. Il problema \u00e8 che spesso, dietro l\u2019immagine patinata, i veri processi creativi restano nelle mani dei team interni \u2014 giovani designer, modellisti, creativi anonimi \u2014 che raramente ricevono il riconoscimento che meritano.<\/p><p><strong>L\u2019effetto sugli studenti e sul futuro del settore <\/strong><\/p><p>Per chi studia moda, questa dinamica rischia di essere devastante. Non solo perch\u00e9 riduce le opportunit\u00e0, ma perch\u00e9 mina la fiducia nella possibilit\u00e0 stessa di emergere grazie al talento e al lavoro. Chi pu\u00f2 permettersi scuole costose, stage non retribuiti e anni di pratica spesso si vede scavalcato da chi possiede semplicemente visibilit\u00e0 pubblica.<\/p><p>Il rischio \u00e8 duplice: da un lato si scoraggiano intere generazioni di creativi che potrebbero dare nuova linfa al settore; dall\u2019altro si impoverisce la moda stessa, che smette di valorizzare la ricerca e l\u2019innovazione a favore del puro hype.<\/p><p><strong>Conclusione <\/strong><\/p><p>La nomina di Jeden Smith a direttore creativo di Louboutin non \u00e8 solo una scelta aziendale, ma un simbolo di come il sistema moda stia cambiando direzione. La celebrit\u00e0 sembra ormai essere la valuta pi\u00f9 potente, pi\u00f9 della formazione, dell\u2019esperienza e della competenza.<\/p><p>Se la moda vuole continuare a essere un terreno fertile di creativit\u00e0 e sperimentazione, non pu\u00f2 dimenticare chi la costruisce giorno dopo giorno: studenti, artigiani, designer emergenti che portano avanti un lavoro invisibile ma essenziale.
